The eight checks that matter

“Compatible” does not mean every detail is known
Retail graphics-card dimensions and cable layouts can vary under the same GPU name. When an exact physical fact is unavailable, a trustworthy checker should ask you to verify it instead of inventing certainty.
Check before purchasing
Use exact product models whenever possible. For a motherboard BIOS question, the manufacturer’s CPU support page is the final authority.
